Treatments

Treatments vary greatly depending upon your diagnosis, symptoms and your goals.

Initial treatments are 90-minutes and consist of a 45-minute health history intake followed by a 45-minute treatment. During this initial visit to our Portland clinic, we examine you and determine which systems are unhealthy.  With this information we can then take into account your main goals and concerns and design an appropriate treatment plan.

Treatment plans are designed in a way that takes into account your treatment goals, your history, your diagnosis and your time and budget.  We weigh all of these factors and work with you to develop a plan that works for you. 

Follow-up treatments are 60-minutes and incorporate a 15-minute re-evaluation of the your condition and a 45-minute treatment.  During this time we can discuss progress and re-evaluate your treatment plan.  You can always bring up any feelings or ideas you may have as we believe that collaboration is the best way to achieve your healthcare goals. 

Underlying constitutional imbalances are preexisting conditions that contribute to your current condition. While it is important to address your symptoms directly, we also design your treatment to resolve this underlying condition. Therefore, a treatment within our Portland clinic may consist of acupuncture, massage, moxibustion or cupping therapy.
